A series of frame by frame step sequences depicting motion by Eadweard Muybridge, a British photographer best known for pioneering "Animal Locomotion" as displayed in the third picture. I find his works to be a derived form of chronophotography as similar outcome is achieved in terms of displaying motion over time. This is a very two dimensional method, however i feel it has many aspects i can attempt to derive in my own work such as the use of grey scale, silhouettes and annotations to display the images as formal and scientific works.
